Announcing my new series "Arctic Dreams"
In my series "Arctic Dreams”, I invite viewers to immerse themselves in the essence of this remote, otherworldly landscape, dominated by cool blues, pristine whites and subtle greys.
These works are a surreal and minimalist interpretation, a metaphor for our reality, our isolation from the world we live in, where human relationships are increasingly cold and distant, and our human nature, as well as our ecosystem, are increasingly fragile….
Here and now, Arctic Dreams is projected into non-existent places that offer a sense of comfort and calm, a respite from the current pessimism, to reflect upon our free will and destiny…
However, as always, I leave it to you, the viewer, to interpret and feel in your own unique way.
The works are oil and pencils on heavy-weight paper, sizes are from 30 x 30 cm to 70 x 70 cm.
