I am beyond thrilled to announce that my oil on canvas painting, “Let me be by the moon,” has been awarded the II National Art Competition Prize Omorfia, Ciudad de Cádiz! 🏆🎨

This recognition means a lot to me, not only as an artist but as someone who seeks to convey and connect with the world through their work. Congratulations as well to all the finalists.

I would like to extend my deepest appreciartion to the Omorfia Prize organizers and jury panel for their recognition and support of my work.

" DIARIO DE CÁDIZ The Second National Painting Prize Omorfia City of Cádiz, which has once again sparked great interest in the national art scene, has concluded its latest edition with the announcement of the winner—in this case, a female winner. This second edition has exceeded expectations, attracting a total of 440 entries, reaffirming the prestige of the competition in just two years. After an exhaustive selection process conducted by a jury composed of Antonio Vela, Cecilio Chaves, Celia Burgos, Belén González, Paco Mármol, Ramón de la Rosa, and Olga Tey, the artwork ‘Let me be by the moon’ by artist Helena Revuelta was distinguished as the winner. This decision stands out among a selection of works that reflect the diversity and quality of contemporary art in Spain.

The award ceremony was held last Friday at the Cádiz gallery, in an event that promises to establish itself as a cultural benchmark in the city. Additionally, on the same evening, the highly anticipated ‘Expocolect II Painting Prize’ exhibition was inaugurated. The 12 finalist works, including the winning piece and one by a guest artist, are on display at the Omorfia Art Gallery for approximately a month and a half. This exhibition not only celebrates the winning work but also provides a platform to appreciate the talent and creativity of the finalist artists, highlighting the richness and diversity of contemporary art."

About “Let Me Be By The Moon” This work is inspired by that state mind in which one seems lost in thought, daydreaming, or simply contemplating deeply. A state of reverie or meditation that also invites one to delve into their own imagination. It belongs to my series “Between Heaven and Earth.”

🌟 ¡Noticias emocionantes para compartir! 🌟

Estoy más que emocionado/a de anunciar que mi obra, “Let Me Be By The Moon,” ha sido galardonada con el II Premio Nacional de Pintura Omorfia, Ciudad de Cádiz. 🏆🎨
